Michel’s dad is doing great. The circulation in his leg is very good and the wounds are healing. He saw the podiatrist yesterday and he was very pleased with the way things are going.

Michel is doing worse. She seems to be in pain almost all of the time. I think she can go back to the pain management doctor at the end of the month for more shots.

Beth and Mikey are doing very well. Beth is not excited about being back at school. Mikey was throwing a tantrum the other night. He knocks things off tables, pushes things over, throws himself on the floor sometimes when he doesn’t get what he wants or even if he is just frustrated. So I went in and said to him, “Come on, Mikey. You are nine years old! Stop acting like a baby.” And he stopped! He climbed on the couch, gave me a dirty look, and signed for me to go away. He was mad because I told him he was acting like a baby!

I spoke to the person at the crematorium today and he said I could pick up Malibu early next week. I got a sympathy card from the vet who put Malibu to sleep. She wrote a very nice note. Beth grabbed it and took it to her lair room.
