Michel’s Dad

Pop Michel’s dad died yesterday. He had been ill for a long time. He died peacefully in bed at home which was what he wanted.

Pop was a good guy and he always got along very well with everyone. He will be greatly missed.

I remember seeing the pictures of Michel’s Mom a while back, seeing what I know (from all the way over here) to be Michel’s sense of humor in her. This is the first picture I’ve seen of her Dad, and I can see his reflection in the pics I’ve seen of her, as well. I know it’s not much for me to go on.
I’m glad that he got what he wanted, in whatever measure. I hope he got to live his life, or at least some of it, on his terms.
My thoughts are with you all, today. I hope that peace is the order of the day.
