McFlyMcFly is a very popular English pop band that formed in 2004. All their albums have been in the top 10 in the UK including two albums that charted at number one and were certified as platinum. They have also had seven number one singles. They have had sixteen consecutive top twenty singles on the UK charts. They have also been voted as the Nickelodeon UK Kids Choice Awards winner for Best Band for the past two years. They are also the youngest band ever to have an album debut at number one. The group appeared in the teen comedy film Just My Luck, starring Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine, in 2006.

The members of the group are Tom Fletcher (vocals and guitar), Danny Jones (vocals and guitar), Dougie Poynter (vocals and bass), and Harry Judd (drums). Tom and Danny met when they were writing songs for the boy band, Busted, and decided they should form their own group. The group was named after the character Marty McFly from the movie Back to the Future.

The album Motion in the Ocean is McFly’s third album was released in November 2006 and reached number six on the UK billboard charts. The single Transylvania reached number one.
