Mikey’s Home
Mikey had a fantastic weekend. We picked him up at 3 PM and he was smiling and running around. The nurse told us that he was much better behaved then last time. He sat at the table with everyone for all the meals, he particpated in all the activities, and he went to bed without any trouble. The new medication seems to be making some difference.
When we picked him up, he ran around giving everyone goodbye kisses and then he ran out to the car. He was tired when we got home and fell asleep early. A weekend of camping takes a lot out of you.

How does Beth get the color to stay in her hair? I’ve done blue and hot pink (always on lightened pieces) but it always washes out so fast. Love the purple.

Good question Jen! Beth has her ends bleached and then the color applied. I think how long it stays in depends on the brand and the color. She also uses shampoo that is designed for colored hair. I’ll have her comment later when she gets home from school.

Beth says Special Effects lasts longest and Manic Panic looks the brightest and glows under black light. Also, some colors last longer than other colors. This depends on your hair. Beth finds green, blue, and purple last the longest. Special Effects Cupcake Pink lasted a long time for Beth.
