A Teardrop
I didn’t even know that this existed. Two years ago, on September 11, 2006, the Russian government dedicated this memorial in Bayonne Harbor, New Jersey, across the river from the World Trade Center. It is a gift from Russia to the US to memorialize those who died in the two attacks on the World Trade Center in 1993 and 2001.
The memorial stands 100 feet tall and depicts a teardrop. The memorial is named “To the Struggle Against World Terrorism.” It was designed and created by Russian sculptor Zurab Tsereteli.
Thank you Prime Minister Putin and all the Russian people.

Wow.
How many other acts of kindness and brotherhood like this don’t we know about? Probably all of them.
Thanks.

No one I have mentioned this to has any idea that this exists. That is just very strange.
