In Memory of Jeff Miller
As I mentioned in an earlier entry, Jeff Miller, one of the four students killed at Kent State, graduated from the same high school that Beth is attending. The school put up a memorial to Jeff. I took a couple of pictures of it so you could see what it looks like. Click on the images for the full size image.

It didn’t take as long as it appears from the memorial. Plainview used to have two high schools. The high school Jeff attended is now a middle school. Shortly after Jeff was killed, a classroom was dedicated to him at the high school Jeff attended. When that high school became a middle school it was thought that a new memorial, a more public memorial, should be dedicated to Jeff at what is now the only high school. That is how the memorial in the pictures came to be.
